| The Pavel Super Walking Knot has been a feature of magic’s finest performers for many years. Here is a “simplified” version where the only difference is that where you cut and where you slide the knot is predetermined by you rather than a spectator. There are three spots on the rope where this can be done as opposed to anywhere on the rope that the spectator choose. A long length of rope is stretched out and one end is tied to a mike stand, the other to a chair, or whatever you like. You cut the rope near one end allowing the two pieces to fall freely apart. There is nothing in your hands. You then tie the two pieces together and begin to slide the knot down the length of rope. You stop sliding near the center of the rope and immediately untie the rope at that position allowing the rope to fall into two separate pieces. This can be repeated by sliding the rope near the other end and then the rope can finally be restored. This is a totally self contained miracle
with a piece of rope and nothing else. No gimmicks to hide in your hands, no extra pieces to add or dispose of. This is as close to real magic as you can get!! |
